The needs of adults with autism will be the focus of a new professorship at Rutgers University thanks to a $1.5 million gift from two Princeton families raising children diagnosed with the developmental disability, university officials announced today. Located at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, the Karmazin and Lillard Chair in Adult Autism will pay for research and training future professionals to work in the growing field.
