Julissa Montero joins the Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services as an Employment Specialist, bringing a strong background in career development and disability employment support. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Drew University and a Master’s degree in Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology from Kean University, where she discovered her passion for developing inclusive and accessible workplaces. Her experience includes serving as a Career Advisor at Seton Hall University, collaborating with employers to support student career development, as well as prior work as an Employment Specialist and Job Coach supporting individuals with disabilities. She also brings experience working in human resources, further strengthening her commitment to supporting equitable employment practices.
