Meet the CSP Coordinators

 

Courtney ButlerCourtney Butler, MS, BCBA
CSP Program Coordinator

Courtney Butler is the Program Coordinator of the College Support Program (CSP) for Students on the Autism Spectrum at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Courtney is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and earned her Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis at Western New England University in 2018. Prior to her current position, Courtney worked on the Intensive Treatment Team at the New England Center for Children in Massachusetts. More recently, she worked as a Behavior Technician and Behavior Analyst at the RCAAS, providing individualized community-based support for autistic adults, where her research primarily focused on decreasing maladaptive, stereotypic behavior. Courtney has presented at several conferences and is interested in the integration of Applied Behavior Analysis to the various supports of college students. The focus of her current research and clinical work includes the assessment of academic, social, and employment skills, and the development of support systems for young adults on the autism spectrum.

 

laurenLauren Carino, PhD
Assistant CSP Program Coordinator

Lauren M. Carino, Ph.D. is the Assistant Program Coordinator for CSP at Rutgers University. Dr. Carino provides direct support services to students enrolled in the program and serves in a leadership position for its day-to-day functioning under the Program Coordinator. Dr. Carino received her Ph.D. from Seton Hall University's APA-accredited Counseling Psychology program in August of 2019, and completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Rutgers' Counseling, Alcohol and Other Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) in August of 2018. She has worked in several university and college counseling centers across New Jersey, including Ramapo College, Montclair State University, and The College of New Jersey, providing a variety of therapeutic services. Dr. Carino is a former adjunct faculty member at Middlesex County College, where she taught introductory psychology classes. Her clinical interests include anxiety, perfectionism, girls/women in STEM, and student advocacy.

 

Giulietta

Christina Chornei
CSP Graduate Student Coordinator

Christina Chornei is a Graduate Student Coordinator for Rutgers-CSP. Christina earned her bachelor’s degree at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Prior to taking the Coordinator position, she was a Peer Mentor for the Enhance Program at Ramapo College. Christina is currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Rutgers University's School of Social Work. She is passionate about learning and gaining new skills to become a great social worker.

 

 

 

Sabrina

Sabrina Clark
CSP Graduate Student Coordinator

Sabrina Clark is a Graduate Student Coordinator for Rutgers-CSP. Sabrina earned her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University in May 2021. She is currently enrolled in the Clinical Social Work Track- Advanced Standing Master’s Program at Rutgers University's School of Social Work. She is interested in going into the clinical social work field, focusing on assessing the needs of clients and creating the best treatment strategies to help them work through their problems. Sabrina is dedicated to helping individuals overcome obstacles and difficulties, all while continuing to make the most out of any given situation and helping them to improve their quality of life.

 

Giulietta

Giulietta Flaherty
CSP Graduate Student Coordinator

Giulietta Flaherty is a Graduate Student Coordinator for Rutgers-CSP. Giulietta earned her bachelor’s degree at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in 2019. At TCNJ, Giulietta worked with the Career and Community Studies Program, a college program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This passion led her to pursue work with CSP. Giulietta is currently pursuing her PsyD in School Psychology at Rutgers-Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). She hopes to one day provide mental health and related services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in higher education settings.

Manica Jacques
CSP Coordinator

Manica Jacques is a Coordinator for Rutgers-CSP. Manica provides direct support services to students enrolled in the program. Prior to taking the Coordinator position, she worked as the Academic Support Coordinator for CSP. Manica received her BA in Psychology and Anthropology at Rutgers University in January of 2019. She is currently enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Track – Rehabilitation Counseling Master’s Program at the School of Health Professions (SHP) with Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). She is interested in going into the clinical psychology field and working with individuals on their intellectual, emotional, psychological, social, and behavioral maladjustment.

 

Franny

Franny Perez
CSP Graduate Student Coordinator

Franny Perez is a Graduate Student Coordinator for Rutgers-CSP. Franny earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and she is currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Rutgers University's School of Social Work. She is passionate about helping all groups. Franny hopes to receive her LCSW after graduation to better aid individuals in mental healthcare.

 

 

 

Christina

Christina Pham
CSP Graduate Student Coordinator

Christina Pham is a Graduate Student Coordinator for Rutgers-CSP. Christina earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, with minors in Cognitive Science and Health Administration. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program at Rutgers University's School of Social Work. Christina is passionate about expanding access to mental healthcare and is interested in specializing in clinical counseling.

 

 

 

Yu

Yu Yan
CSP Graduate Student Coordinator

Yu Yan is a Graduate Student Coordinator for Rutgers-CSP. Yu earned her master’s degree of Special Education at George Washington University. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of School Psychology Program at Rutgers-Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). Yu has worked with children/adolescents with autism in a broad age range, providing evidence-based and culturally competent services in various school settings. Her research and clinical interests focus on increasing access to evidence-based mental health services for youth and adults with ASD and promoting educational equity for all students.
